BituChem Announces Big Management Changes

We are happy to announce the following important management changes at the BituChem Group.

David Howie has been promoted from Technical Director to the Managing Director of BituChem. He said “I am looking forward to continuing to meet the ever-changing challenges faced by our industry, with our dedicated and innovative team.” He has been serving the role of Technical Director since 2000.

Neil Robinson will take on the position of Commercial Director from his previous position of Commercial Manager at BituChem Asphalt Ltd. He added “I’m thrilled and proud to have the opportunity and support for us to continue and build on the robust foundations of genuinely great and innovative business.” Neil filled the role of Commercial Manager for nearly 9 years which he was responsible for BituChem Asphalt, the sole manufacturer of the innovative NatraTex range of Coloured Asphalt.

Phillip Humphreys will move from Contracting Manager to the Contracting Director for BituChem Highway Solutions Ltd. As Contracting Manager, he was responsible for overseeing the supply and apply contracts in the surface dressing industry, whilst also managing a small in-house team to deliver surface treatments solutions. 

Phillip has over 16 years of experience as a Contracting Manager. He began working at BituChem in 2012. He said “I’m looking forward to taking an active role in daily operations and ensuring that health and safety and quality of workmanship are second to none.” 

BituChem’s former Managing Director, Roger Lord, will continue to remain responsible for the group business strategy and commercial activities. He has held the position of Managing Director for nearly 30 years.
